Good- quarterback play

Bad- secondary is still suspect

Ugly- the no call on Darr for kicker

I don't think we know yet if we were underrated or if Utah State was overrated, but at least we do know for certain now that ESPN's experts are idiots.

Good:Worley, Darr, the Defense
Bad:Offensive line.
Ugly: The Darr Injury. Likely that will at least sideline him next week. I'm surprised he walked off under his own weight.

Good: Solid management on the offense

Bad: O line needs to create better holes for running game

Ugly: Terrified at losing any starter on defense

The good: Faster more aggressive defense
The bad: Tied for 1st place: Execution and the suspect offensive line
The ugly: Leaving Keeton in to the end when he was obviously hurting

Oline needs to make big strides this week...too many penalties, sacks and not enough blocking.

TEs: Boom!

Defense looked real good except for about 6 plays.

WR drops early.

Worley shaky early but it took much less time for him to get going.

Running game needs work but showed flashes with Hurd pass and Marlin second effort yards.

Short week for a good Ark State team. Focus, focus, focus!

Secondary play was great except for one Coleman play...If you already know you are going to have a penalty, don't let WR catch the ball too.

Medley pretty good for first game, need more touchbacks on KOs.

Darr: I hope he is ok. Sit him next week if need be.

Good - solid QB play...no QB controversy
Good - defense

Bad - run game
Bad - 1st fg missed and not much distance on kick offs

Ugly - missed opportunities in 1st half
Ugly - all the expert's pre-game predictions

The good: our defense overall was impressive--and I like the play of our corners. You need good, tough corners (and safeties) in this spread era, guys that can tackle in space. We did that.

Also good: Worley managed the game well and got the ball to receivers on the short passes accurately. We've got some talented receivers.

The bad: The offensive line was no better than Ok. Couldn't run the ball very well against a mediocre defense: we will obviously face much tougher defensive fronts, so offensive line play is a potential problem.

The Ugly: play calling/pass game in the second quarter. We tried throwing the ball downfield in the second quarter and were terrible--bad timing, missed passes, squandered good field position, barely eeked out a fg before the half. Went back to short, more conservative pass game in the second half with very good results. We will need to keep improving our offense, needless to say.

Good- AJ Johnson all over the place, special teams, INT and FF

Bad- Running game (only 60 yards by halftime and 99 almost the end of the 3rd)

Ugly- The replay on Darr and Gilliam- HOPE they can be back by ARky or at least OU
