I thought it would be alot better to start a thread that has clips of good recruiting news or positive feedback from recruits here. these threads get way off topic and i get tired of trying to sift through all the gar-baaage to see whats new.

I know exactly what you're looking for: a thread where the only posts have actual information; no posts with commentary, questions, speculation, criticisms, rants, "Go get him Dooley"s, etc.

I think what might help is if you clarify the original post. Tell everyone that you only want informative posts in this thread and that you don't want any fluff in this thread.

What might be helpful is this: a weekly update thread where the original poster updates his original post throughout the week so that it is essentially a blog/twitter of the substantive updates throughout the week. People can post below if they want, but for those who just want to see what the news is without going through all the threads, they can just check the OP of the weekly update thread.

That is my exact plan for the Big Board that is pinned. But I haven't had time to update it lately. Will become much easier when the season starts and our targets become clearer. I plan on updating it every week.
