I can't tell if he's just pissed about the performance or relieved that his job isn't a question anymore (or both) but he seemed in better spirits than I thought he would. Judging from his tone on the locker room show, I thought he'd be really down in this presser.

A bitter angry jobless man....the new face of losing.....I think like in the movie "Kingpin" when they refer to a real loser blowing his opportunity and throwing all away as a "Munson" it will now be known as a "Dooley"

I wanted Dooley to do well at UT and he has given his all to the program to make it better. He was able to do some good things, but he has the worst case of bad luck/misfortune I have ever seen. Like him or hate him, it is hard to watch a man who is completely beaten and has no other options.

Right at the end he said the program is better than what people think it is.

I posted in the other thread...

This is really sad.

He is just completely hopeless and in despair. You can see in his eyes that he is completely aware that he is out. Probably shed some tears in the locker room as well.

You can want him out, no problem, but how people can mock, ridicule and bash the guy is beyond me. Best of luck to him elsewhere.

Dooley was way over his head. It is apparent that he should have never been offered this job. Go back to sucking Saban or the attorney buisness.

No use being an a&& hole about this. This guy is about to burst into tears after giving his heart to UT for a couple years. I want the guy gone as bad as everyone else but this is sad.

Hearing the Vandy players screaming in the back ground....pouring alcohol and salt on Dooley's anal wound from the raping Franklin gave him....must of made that presser extra hard.

I feel bad for the man. I honestly believe he gave his all and thats all anyone can ask for. I wish the best for him. He's down and probably hurting enough already, but so many of the fans have poured so much hate on him... its sickening.

This. He sounded like he had been crying during the locker room show. But he's truly handled this like a man and with class. It'd be easier for me to want him gone immediately if he was an immature a-hole about the situation. That said, he knows results are what people want and results are what he hasn't given. It's a tough pill to swallow. When he said he loved the team and everything about Tennessee, it broke my heart. Because there are people on Twitter right now hoping he gets shot or that his house burns down. That's the repayment he gets for loving Tennessee.

I can't take pleasure in watching a man fail, especially so publicly.

On a side note, did that dip**** Travis knock in the middle of it, come in then ask Dooley if Bray was staring down the Vandy bench? I wonder if his wife ever looks at him (or just hears him talk) and thinks, " WTF was I thinking?"
