In the Maddux videos the ball is moving soo much, yet the cather doesn’t even have to move his mit. Amazing control. Think his fastball was just average (about 92) for major leaguers.

Maddox was a different breed. I hated when the Braves played the Cubs and he was pitching. I was extremely happy when the Braves signed him.
