That was some second half last night.

127 points scored in 20 minutes - that's 6.35 points per minute. Every 20 seconds somebody was scoring. Consider this - each team actually shot about 66%. Basically, these teams were running like an NBA all-star game. They were almost taking a shot every 10-15 seconds. If it takes about 5 seconds to get the ball down the court, then each team only ran about 5-10 seconds of offense each possession.

I liked the way everyone seemed to carry their weight, not just counting whether Chirs Lofton is hot or not.The last off game he had was Memphis I think.I wonder now if he had been on that night, would we have won against a now #3 team at their place.I know Bradshaw was on that night. :dunno:

I don't know if any of you remember the Loyola Marymount vs LSU game in the 80's. LMU had Bo Kimbal and Hank Gaithers (sp?) before he died that year. LSU had Shaq, Chris Jackson, etc.

The final was something like 148 - 141 (LSU in OT). It was off the hook!
