I contribute to a CFB blog, and I attempted to post a UT-UGA prediction. The thread got zapped before I could make a quick edit. Meanwhile I noticed there's threads started by other VN members with predictions from other websites (Scout, Phil Steele, etc.).

Just checking in with the mods to see what the rules are regarding this.

The difference is a personal blog vs a commercial site. Links to most blogs aren't allowed

Agreed.

Is it okay to post a prediction without the link?

If it's premium commercial content, then you can say "ESPN insider writer such and such picked so and so to win" but as a rule of thumb we will also delete references to personal blogs unless it is cleared with Freak first.

There's a thread on the Football board titled "Another Blogs Perspective", and the mods appear to be cool with it.
