Due to expected inclement weather in the area, No. 24-ranked Tennessee Baseball's midweek matchup at MTSU slated for Tuesday, March 14 at 5 p.m. ET has been postponed.

This is good for us, I think. I saw in another thread that if this game was not played, we could see a bunch of guys get innings vs Austin Peay. South Carolina is a big series coming up on Friday and I was worried we would be stretched thin with two mid week games before USCe.

Glad to see this and I can't wait to see what we do against the Cocks.

The schedule will become more condensed moving forward with two games to makeup now.

I think this is the right move...game time temp should be about 40 with NW winds at 15 mph leading to a below freezing wind chill. Not suitable weather to play or watch baseball.

I hope the SB team follows suite and doesn't play today in nearby Columbia, although due to their game being a highly marketed "Classic" they may play anyway. I suspect darn few will show up to watch even though they've sold over 4K tickets.

Bad time for crappy weather but hardly abnormal.

It is 37 with about a 10 MPH wind here in Memphis. I just got back from lunch, and there is no way I would want to be playing baseball.
