Not many. TCU does have a few games coming up that could be ranked, but it's still not SEC competition.Hopefully USCJr will stay ranked in the top 25 when we play them. It will give us 7 games and 7 potential top 25 Wins for this season. How many other teams can say 3/4 of their schedule were top 25 teams when they played them.?
-- UGa will probably end the regular season having played just three top 25 teams.
-- Ohio State and Michigan the same. Three each (which includes each other).
-- Clemson probably three, too. Right now it looks like four, but we get to USCe before they do, so the Gamecocks will be unranked for them.
-- TCU will have played four.
-- Bama will have played five. But of course, they lost to one of those five (*cheshire cat grin*).
I don't think any of the undefeated teams come close to our strength of schedule. We're rocking the free world. Let's keep the show going right into December!
Go Vols!
I completely agree. I mean our season so far and performance this year has been leaps and bounds above what I thought we would do. I knew we would be better but man it far better than expected. We don't need to make playoffs to have a great season. We have already had a great season and are looking to finish over our expectations.
Playoffs or Atlanta would be just icing on the cake for a great season so far for our program.
