How will Stokes fit in? I don't even know if he will be starting, but if he does, maybe it would look like this:

Golden
McRae/Tatum
Maymon
Stokes
Hall/Miller

I can't see Maymon not starting, but if he gets bested by Stokes:

Golden
McRae
Tatum
Stokes
Hall

Here's a fun one:

Washpun
McRae
Maymon
Stokes
Miller

What are you guys thinking?

Trae, Richardson, McRae, Maymon, Stokes

Trae and McRae could be studs if they can learn to settle down and make the right decisions. Richardson has potential as well. Maymon is solid. I hope Stokes pans out. Could end up being a fairly average line-up.

Yemi will be out of the rotation and possibly Miller as Stokes will be taking their minutes if he does not start.

I'd say he backs up Hall for most of this year, but continues to get more minutes as the season progresses.

I think he's better than Hall, obviously. But it will take some time to get adjusted to everything.

So you guys are thinking that Hall, Miller, and Makanjuola are out of the picture as far as starters are concerned?

There is no way we could play 3 bigs like those lineups is there?

Maymon would get abused by opposing wings(he already has and has given up several of his fouls out there). He is athletic, but not enough to be out in space with SF's with regularity.

Probably will be:
Golden
Tatum
Stokes
Maymon
Hall

I would like:
Golden
McRae
Tatum
Stokes
Maymon

Which ever one gives us the W's and blow out wins over the UNC Asheville's on our schedule.

Stokes, Hall, and Maymon are not going to play SF in our motion offense and none of them can defend on the wing. It's just not going to happen. Enjoy having more quality depth in the post and be thankful the 4 and 5 are interchangeable so Maymon and Stokes can be on the floor together and see how they work with eachother. Maymon is a decent passer and could really give a good hi-lo presence which would be fun to watch. Go Vols!!!

Golden, Tatum, Richardson, Stokes (when he gets in the flow), and Maymon when height is less of a factor.

Golden, Tatum, Hall, Maymon and Stokes against tall teams.

You need Stokes and Maymon playing off each other inside for 20 minutes a game - then alternating out for 10 minutes each.

I agree none of those post guys can play the 3 spot.

Do you feel confident that CM will be willing to play Stokes and Maymon together? I have some doubts

If he can play Hall and Maymon, he can play anybody on the team with maymon.

If Stokes, Maymon and Hall are all on the floor together we would almost have to play zone and Martin doesn't seem to want to do that. Maybe putting his "best 5" on the floor together will change his mind but he seems like a diehard man-to-man guy to me.

Maymon originally coming out of HS and even when he transferred from Marquette played the 3 or SF, so it would be interesting to see if he could play that spot again. CCM may leave the rotation as is IMO. But either Hall or Makanjuola's minutes will decrease..

Golden
McRae
Tatum
Maymon
Hall
