Interesting he didn't mention that the Reid plan is not "balanced" either (no tax increases). Isn't that the unfair approach?

If he had taken the $800 million revenue deal we could be done but no - had to up the ante at the last minute.

Interesting that he left out:

1) his refusal to compromise on timing of debt ceiling extension length.
2) his refusal to vote for debt ceiling extension
3) 75% of extensions have been less than 1 year but he is demanding longer than that for this one.

Nope, Boehner came out strong...I was kind of shocked. Seems these 2 are not even close to a deal yet, but I do still think the debt will be raised.

I think the only real thing that the House can fall back on is that they are the only players to have already passed one bill and it looks like they might have another on the table before the Senate even has one and the POTUS has produced nothing.

Maybe too inside baseball to save backlash for Reps though.

Both came out as extremely childish, whining, and blaming each other. Blame goes to both parties.

These morons should just work this out by, I don't know, doing what they were elected to do.
