Can anyone who attends open practices/scrimmages please provide some details here? This time of year kills me in a 'silence is deafening' kind of way as the team prepares for the season. Being in Memphis, I don't have the option of attending practices and I rarely hear how the team is doing outside of stuff Bruce is feeding the media. I really want to know how the new guys are doing - is Harris as good as advertised? how is Mcrae doing? How about Golden? Will Jeronne really take your head off if you don't fight him back (as Pearl said)? Heck, I've got a million questions and this could go on a while, so I'll stop here :)

The media attends practice, so outside of what "Writer32" writes, it isn't really propaganda. I've been to a couple practices and from what I've seen, combined with reports from TOS, Harris has been steady and aggressive. McRae has been outstanding offensively and probably the biggest surprise. Golden pushed Goins early, but Goins responded to lock up the starting role. Golden will back up Goins. The reviews on Maymon have been mixed. He looked decent in one practice I went to, and was a no show in the other.

tyvm, vw33. I'm kind of a junkie for info about our team at this time of year. Cannot wait for the games to begin. Cheers :hi:
