Back in the summer my fiancé and I decided to go to New Orleans for NY . Now I'll be there with about 40,000 bammers and 20k Yankees. Oh well hope they both lose.

That kind of stinks, but Im sure you'll still have a great time, NO is always a great time!

Go to Espinade ave to Port of Call. Get a Monsoon cheeseburger and loaded baked potato!

Find Buck Town and eat at Deanies!

Get a muffalatta at Central Grocery!

Go to Cooter Browns Tavern and Oyster bar!

Watch the ball drop at Jackson Square!

If you want way after hour shots there is a cool dive bar called Nicks Bar- a lot like the Last Lap!

Don't take the bait if somebody says they will bet you $10 if they can guess where you "got them shoes"

These are all Local and not tourist traps!

I speak from experience (brother went to Tulane and never left the city)

Have a blast!!!
