My wifes sister just gave birth to twins. Just 27 weeks. Asher and Micah are their names. Both weighed 2 pounds 6 ounces. They were delivered ceserian(SP). They are in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit in Macon. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Prayers sent. If you (or your wife's sister) have any questions or need advice, please don't hesitate to ask. They've got a tough road ahead, but neonatal medicine is miraculous. PM me anytime.

Thanks everyone. They are doing well right now. An exhausting few days.

Thanks KD, I will be sure to ask if we think of something but the docs here are keeping everyone pretty well informed.

Update!

Asher: He is doing really well. Off his meds and is steadily gaining weight.

Micah: He had pulminary bleeding into his lungs and brain. Docs say they are certain he will have Cerebral Palsy(SP?) but don't know how severe. There was a time there when we all thought and were led to believe that it was bad and he might not survive. Thankfully he appears to be pulling through.

He has been reduced from his oxygen from 100% to 75% to 50% to 30% and now below 30%.

Mom and Dad have been at the hospital everyday now from noon to 2000hrs during visiting hours.

Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks KD for the extra advice and support through PM.
