Hey guys, I know some of you really come together with thoughts and prayers when someone needs them. I just got a call, and my sister has had a stroke. They've flown her to the university of Kentucky hospital. That's about all I know right at the moment. My parents are gonna let me know when they get there if I need to leave and head that way. Pray for my mom, she couldn't even talk to me from being upset. Sorry to start a thread, but like I said, I know some of you guys will whisper a prayer. So thanks in advance.

Joe. My wife's sister had a stroke when she was 8, and was treated at UK. One of the best stroke treatment facilities in the world, imo.

Thanks everyone. I know I've never met any of you, but it honestly means a lot that you're thinking and praying. They've given her medicine to get her stable, and are running tests to try to figure out what caused it exactly. They've given her preventative meds for her heart, and blood thinner in case it was a clot. She's conscious, but can't talk at the moment. She has some issues with her left side also. From what I understand from my aunt, she's stable now, but they are afraid shell have permanent damage from this. Thanks guys.
