They won't be there for long....The Domers will lose another game maybe even 2....They still have to play a good Air Force team, and Texas could lose to Mizzou or Texas A&M someone like that

Mark it down, Texas WILL lose to Mizzou if they meet in the Big 12 championship. Everyone on that list has losable games remaining. Don't be surprised if (god I can't believe I am saying this) Corso was right and a one loss Cal sneaks into the 2 spot by the end of the year.

Georgia is 18th.

Remember, in a three-way tie for the SEC East. Tennessee needs to either be the highest BCS ranked team of the three with Georgia second, or second within 5 slots behind Georgia, or more than five slots ahead of Florida to win the tie-breaker.

In other words, if they tie in the SEC East, we almost 100% need a Florida loss to Florida St to go to ATL.

Nothing is impossible but Florida State is atrocious. And showing no signs of getting any better at all.

You never know, they could turn things around in the second half of the season.

Funny, you think everyone on your schedule is bad and has no shot at beating you. I'm not exactly sure I'll subscribe to your way of thinking.

Auburn has a shot, Georgia has a shot, South Carolina has a shot and Florida St has a shot. Like VolinArizona put it, and you never replied to.... Ole Miss and Mississippi St called to remind you that you MUST show up and play every game.

I like Auburns chances. They are a wounded beast- and likely very, very pissed off about this past weekend. They will play the Gators to the bone (i hope).

Florida has to play at Auburn too. Except for at Tennessee, Meyer does not have a good track record at Florida on the road. The rivalry game is at Florida State too.

I HATE NOTRE DAME!!!! I wish Tech would have slaughtered them,,, Brady Quinn needs to fall off the face of the earth and charlie weiss,, well he needs to get a haircut, that style went out years ago,,, Auburn needs to beat FLA, or their stadium needs to collapse either way is cool with me

Billingsley Report on Major College Football

Not much love from Billingsley.....last week Vols were 32. This week 15th. In BCS lowest ranking is thrown out but 15th is pretty low. Guess Vols we need to win out to impress this guy!!!

The first tie-breaker in a 3-way tie is head-to-head between the 3 teams. You REALLY need to pull for UGA to beat Florida - otherwise Florida would still go unless they lose 3 games in the SEC (3 games because if Florida beats UGA, the only way there would be a 3-way tie is with all three teams having 2 losses).

The next tiebreaker is divisional record. So if Florida doesn't lose to UGA, then for it to be a 3-way tie UF would have to lose to both Vandy and SCarolina. I don't view that as a likely scenario.

The bottom line, is that UT needs to REALLY pull for UGA to beat UF to have a chance. If that doesn't happen, the chances for UT to make the SECCG are pretty much gone.

Of course, if UT wins out, and UF loses 2 (Auburn and anybody else), then UT should be in good shape after having beaten UGA.

The question is: Can the Vols win out?
