For those of you looking for some pre-game partying in Memphis, look no further than the "Battle Off the Field". Two Knoxville bands and two Memphis bands will battle it out on the stage at Newby's on Highland in Memphis. Featuring Llama Train, Early Maxwell, The Loft, and Dova Grove. Party starts at 9:00PM and the music starts shortly after... Should go until after 2:00 or until the booze runs out!!! (which of course will never happen!!)

I'm sure that there are a lot of people, Vol fans and Tiger fans, that would be more than glad to offer you a noose to choke yourself with... Appears to me that dova_grove is only trying to give out of town Vol fans an option if they are looking for a little local flavor in the quest for a good time.

Newby's is actually a pretty cool place (for those who have, apparently, never been). It was the last place I saw the beloved K-town band the V-Roys play, before Scott Miller went solo.
