So with all the new found excitement, I figured I would finally post this. Didn't earlier cause I knew I would get alot of "cool story bros". Plus I have a video that backs it up, but it is in a different format than I can upload it on here. Long story so bear with me.

While trying to keep things pretty vague (hopefully you guys understand why) I have a friend in the S&C field, and I myself have been in the field in varying degrees. Anyways backstory aside, I recently talked to him, and thought I would share some of what he said in regards to winter workouts.

1. Talked to one of our better players, and that player compared last years workouts to this years by basically saying. Last year all we did were sets of 5's, 2's, and 1's (for those of you that don't know much about weights thats all for power). He then went on to say "now we are doing more 10's which is way different, we were out of shape last year." Everyone always talks about how we faded in the 4th quarter the last few years, well some of that may be from not doing these higher reps to keep our stamina.
2. Dave Lawson the head S&C coach, knows what he is doing and relates very well with the players. Workouts have been very intense.
3. One of the best parts about the facility is the "snack bar" says it has everything including a nutritionist and chef to basically make whatever they want. And all the recruits have been talking about it.

Anyways just thought I would share I thought the most interesting part was what the players had to say. Said alot of the guys were pretty out of shape when they got there.

Interesting about the snack bar. I've seen comments from several prospects about it. Sometimes we forget what is important to a teenager/young adult male. My experience is that they eat parents out of house and home. So, the snack bar could be a subtle thing that really gets their attention. Eating is probably second only to girls.

It's in something called 3GPP audio/video. All I know it is the type of format that goes on when you record from a cell phone. And no, I had just planned on embedding it in here, I would rather the audience be smaller just in case. Video isn't anything grand, just about 15 seconds of a workout, but was still cool to see how the workouts kina went.
