yeah the coaches are targeting just 1 LB prospect but I dont see anyone that we've offered as being a reality. I think it is probably going to be someone we haven't offered yet. I cant figure out who that is. :)

Will take alot of work to get Savage away from Rutgers. And Dallas Lee will be a bulldog. He grew up a dog fan and was leaning to us until he got his offer from them last week.

Not bad. I'd really like Shrive and Bell and we may have a pretty good chance with them. I want Eric Gordon a lot too, but I've never really had a good feeling about him. I think he may leave the state.

McKenzie is a senior

Tennessee will have for 09 at LB:

Savion Frazier, Nick Reveiz, Chris Donald, Rico, Marlon Walls, Herman Lathers, Lamarcus Thompson, Austin Johnson and Josh Hawkins. Add Gerald Williams possibly and that isn't too bad.

That's 9, possibly 10 guys. It's not a huge need.

Not for sure that Marlon is going to get in yet.

You know this, but Johnson is FB right now. If he does well, I'm sure he will stay there unless we desperately need MLB.

I agree. I said it awhile back too. I will start the underground check now. I want a kid named RAY RAY. You can NEVER FAIL with a RAY RAY on your team.
Rex, I know you are good for a least a $20 for our fund arent ya?

There's a guy named Ben Bartholomew, his brother was a FB here, remember? I expect him to take over and let Austin go back to LB.

Until Marlon isn't in, he's here.

Yeah, but we need more than 2 FB's. I would rather leave both Johnson and Bartholomew at FB for depth in case Cooper or either one of them gets injured. We need more than just 2 FB's.

I know. Bartholomew won't get here until summer. That means he will have around 3 months to pick up the entire offense.
