I know it's early yet but I say we finish 3rd or 2nd at best in the SEC this year. What are your predictions?

What Jarnell Stokes decides will have a a big impact on this...with Jarnell I would say top 3, without I would say top 6.

3rd or 4th imo

1. UK
2. UF
3. Mizz or UT

UK has a lot of talent coming in but I think some people are expecting way too much from them this year. They have a lot of freshman coming in that haven't proved anything yet and we don't know if they can work together or not. It could be the 2012-2013 season all over again.

Without seeing some kind of schedule it's pretty tough to make any predictions. Unbalanced scheduling has a pretty big affect on final standings.

If Stokes comes back we should win 25 games and make it to the Sweet 16. Anything less would be underachieving. If we don't do it this year it could be a long wait considering what we lose.

If Stokes stays, 3rd (behind UK and UF).

If he leaves, 7th (behind UK, UF, Alabama, LSU, Vanderbilt, and Mizzou).

No one ever really hypes up Florida pre-season, but they're going to be still very good next year. My predictions (if Stokes stays)

1. UK
2. UT
3. Florida
4. Bama
5. LSU
6. Missouri

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see UK finish 3rd or 4th though

I'll be surprised to see UK finish with 3-4 losses, let alone 3rd or 4th place in the SEC. They would have to fall completely on their faces for that to happen with the talent they have coming in. Not impossible if they are riddled with injuries or off-court issues, but all things being equal 7 months before the season starts, they should win going away. Florida is the only team that should challenge them.

With Stokes, our starting 5 will be hard to beat. Skies the limit. Could be one of the few teams that challenge KY in the SEC.

Without Stokes. Chasing the bubble. Fans start to get out the pitchforks.

I would say 3rd in the conference regular season. Lose their second game in the SEC tourney. Lose in the second round of the big dance.

If Stokes comes back I am predicting we'll finish first or second in the SEC. I think we can hang with Kentucky with our starting five.
