Check the lower level prices on StubHub...they're pretty high.I was lucky enough to find some tickets on the UConn ticket site. List price in section 118, where I'm sitting, was $64 each.

Meanwhile, we're selling tickets for $5...ā˜¹ļø

Remember when Auriemma said the Tennessee game wasn't a big deal anymore, and how so many CT fans said they have bigger rivals now?

We'll see if their attendance figure on Sunday confirms that or not.

I tip my hat to those brave Volunteers faithful who journey north into the hostile wastes to support the team. I have sat amongst the enemy before, spent a Final Four or two surrounded by them and their kind. Eh. I pray your trip is blessed with victory.

Butler is stuck in Indy and probably will not make tonight's game at UConn. The weather up here is pretty bad with freezing rain and low temps. How is the weather down there, and is there a chance the LVs will not be able to get out of Knoxville?

I think the Lady Volunteers were looking ahead to the UCONN game and playing against Westbrook so that is why they played so badly against Florida and lost by 25 points.

None of these kids played with her, did they? I think she came in with Renniaā€™s class.

For those of you who will be attending the game, I hope my fellow Connecticut fans are as courteous to you as Lady Vol fans were to my brothers and I when we attended a couple of games in Tennessee in years past.

BTW, I grew up in Connecticut, though I've primarily lived in the mid-west since the 70's. The cold weather you might experience is extremely unusual compared to what I recall as a kid. OTOH, one of my brothers still lives outside of Hartford and they've been dealing with way more ice storms the past ten years than we experienced when we were young. So perhaps Connecticut's climate has changed over the decades.

In any event, I'm glad to see Tennessee doing well, and safe travels to those of you going to the game.

There is no way Tennessee can defeat UConn without Greenā€™s 14 minutes, 7 points, and 3 rebounds per game.

We'll, I'm here. We're staying at the Hilton that's attached to the arena. The hotel, and the area around the hotel/arena is pretty much deserted. It's windy and bitter cold outside so we'll just hang out in the hotel until dinner.

The last time I was here was in the early 2000's when Diana Taurasi single handily beat the Kara Lawson led Lady Vols. Just did a walk through of the hotel (which was a Hyatt back then) and the XL Center. Everything is the same as back then - just shop-worn, dated and deserted.

It will be interesting to see what the gameday atmosphere is like here tomorrow.

Go Lady Vols!
