2023 Preseason All-SEC football teams: Georgia and Alabama lead the way with 16 selections each

Milton, Spraggins, Mays Third Team offense.

No defense or special teams.

It's just preseason so it doesnt matter, but figured it was something to discuss.

Georgia and Bama had 16 players each.

That's really out there. Home field advantage is usually 6-7.

If the voters looked at returning players from last season who ended the year playing at an All-conference level... yeah, I can see where we don't have many who fit that particular profile.

But we're team players anyway.

I wonder who holds the modern era record for an SEC Conference Champ with the fewest post season, first string all-conference players?
