Belmont is the one certainty. It depends on where they want to send Notre Dame and Valpo. If they don't wnat Indiana, ND , and Valpo all in Indy, I'm sure one of them would be sent to Nashville. The other teams will probably be sent to sites to balance fields. Winthrop is in the tournament, but I'm going to guess they're going to Charlotte.(hvwarrior58 @ May 10 said:Which other teams will be in Nashville?
Not really. UNC, UNC-Wilmington, Winthrop, and Sacred Heart in Charlotte isn't terrible. IU, Notre Dame, Valpo, and ???? in Indy is pretty good. Baylor will actually be pretty good next year. The Preseason NIT usually doesn't have more than 5-6 good teams in it. It's designed to get four good teams to New York.(hvwarrior58 @ May 10 said:Ahhh, will any of the regions be stacked? UT, Belmont, Baylor, Iona seems a little weak.
That will be interesting. I saw Fordham blow Temple out in Philly at the end of the season. Derek Wittenburg has a pretty good young team. Katz must have been confused, no sign of Valpo in the field.(hvwarrior58 @ May 11 said:Here ya go hat, here are the brackets and such:
Tennessee to open up against Fordham in Nashville for the
Pre-Season NIT. The winner of that game will face the winner between Belomont and UNC-Wilmington for the right to go to New York.
The other Brackets are :
Indiana, Lafayette, Notre Dame, and Butler playing in Indianapolis.
North Carolina, Sacred heart, Winthrop, and Iona playing in Charlotte.
Gonzaga, Rice, Baylor, and Colorado State playing in Spokane, Washington.
