I may have had some orange drank on lunch but...i see 6 games that CBJ pretty much HAS to win.

Austin peay
W. Kentucky
S. Alabama
Missouri
Vandy
Kentucky

Edit: Really 7..I don't think we should lose to Auburn. They are in the same situation as us. Besides Malzahn doesn't have Cam to carry him.

I fully support this team and CBJ and staff. They still need to beat someone they're "not supposed to" to win this fan base and future recruits over. I think it will happen. I don't think 8 wins is out of the realm of possibility. However, it would be a GREAT season.

I agree with the "7 must win games" assessment. I went with the 7+1 formula; which is not only achievable, but is what needs to be done to keep the preseason hype going through to the post season.
IMO, this will be the first well coached defense we've fielded since Chief left. That should be good for at least one upset win.

Pretty much expect 1 loss that shouldn't happen. Team isn't good enough to win all of those games. Perhaps an upset, but I doubt they beat everyone that's on theirr level or below.

6-6 would be a huge disappointment. That would mean they won no big games, and lost one that they should win.
I'm expecting more out of this season than just kool uniforms.

We all hope for more but only 6 is possible. Unproven offense. Will have to see about the defense. Very tough schedule.

Only AP, UK, and South AL are definite wins. 3-9 to 6-6 is the area we are looking at.

auburn is not a gimme game. theyve out recruited us for the last 3 years and are only 1 year removed from the malzahn offense. they will be much improved on offense and they werent terrible on defense last year.

6-6 is expected imo and anything greater will be a blessing. high hopes for the coming years though.

Really? We should beat Mizzou on the road even though they beat us in Neyland last season?

We should beat auburn? maybe. I believe they will be much improved this season.

Vandy? You're not paying attention recently if you think we should beat Vandy. They put an absolute whooping on us last season.

Not saying we will lose those games, in fact I predicted wins in 2 of 3, but no way any rational fan can say we should win all 3 or it's a disappointment...

And don't hold your breathe for a big win. Top 10 teams don't just roll over and those are the only big games we play.

Are talent lvl is better than 6 teams on the schedule and about even with Auburn. The rest comes down to coaching. The defense has more talent now than we did when it was 25th in the nation 2 yrs ago. Good coaching can get us 8 wins.
And yes, this is a tough schedule....if you're expecting 10 wins.

How many of our opponents are breaking in a new offense with a new qb and wr's and a running game that hasn't been "stellar" in years?

I hope you're right and we win 8 or more but don't start a "fire butch" thread if we don't since you've set your expectations so high.

I might be wrong, but wasn't it almost the same situation th last time we beat Georgia and S. Carolina?

I'm thinking 6-6 or 7-5 with 5-7 very possible and 8-4 a dream season. I really think if we go to a bowl game, it should qualify as successful, as long as we are competitive in losses.

My unbiased Tennessee/Florida prediction:

Tennessee over Florida. I've elaborated quite a bit more, but the rules say I can not use the link to where I did so. If you want to hear a honest prediction with research as to why, you can visit the website under my contact info. The upset is just too long to post.

Glad you like the uniforms, but 5 wins is all you get, sorry

should we just go ahead and fire Butch now, just in case he would have only won 5 games?
