Some of the preseason ratings included in the Massey composite are junk but in total it’s not too bad. I’m curious about the historical accuracy of Dokter Entropy. I know their in-season game predictions have been very good in the past. They rank the Vols 11th

We could have the deepest team in the NCAA. I'm not saying most talented, but deep teams tend to go far in the NCAAT. My wildly uneducated guess is that we finish in the 8-12 range by season's end.

Every year we are 12 deep till we start playing meaningful games and then we find out we only have about 7 that we can get away with playing. I will wait to reserve judgement on how deep we will be.

Not the preseason ranking. It’s how good they think we’ll be. Gonzaga is the consensus #1 in every poll/ranking out there and they’re not even #2 here. Weird

we kind of stayed the same in terms of rating. Bama and Texas jumped us with their impressive performances. Ohio St, Texas Tech, and Houston dropped due to their opening game struggles
