Have you befriended Luc on facebook yet? Have you written a love letter and posted it on the Gator message board? You know it helps to get personally involved in the recruiting process. Your team is counting on you.

I caled Kiffin and he told me I can have as much contact with a recruit as I want as long as I don't pay him in cash. Checks are okay.

As soon as superman leaves town, you should probably start worrying right about then.

We have a very good QB waiting in the wings. It really depends on how many juniors bolt for the NFL draft. In any event, don't expect UF to turn into Kentucky overnight.

Don't expect them to keep running rough shot over the sec either. Florida would be a good team without tebow, but with him is what makes the difference. I really don't care who they have waiting in the wings, its not tebow and that makes me happy.

Utter nonsense.

right. i forgot. the sec is king at all times. shall we remind you how many NCs spurrier won? or how about the fact a mediocre coach like fulmer had the best record in college football during that same time? or the fact that bama and lsu were down or that spurrier has been a failure at south carolina. florida and SC fans expecting this to last forever are in for a shocker. no one program has ever dominated college football for over a decade. florida is on an upswing. next year will be the start of the downswing.

Nah droski, let them keep thinking they can be the east coast version of USC and run roughshot over everyone every year. It will make it so much sweeter when they come crashing back down to reality. Spurrier did benefit from a weaker sec, so did fulmer. Phil's only real competition at that time was spurrier. Spurrier on the other hand really had no competition as phil couldn't match wits with him. Both those coaches padded their resume's by having weak competition around them. These gator fans have grown arrogant and spoiled over the last few years. There isn't another tebow out there. The way the SEC recruits as a whole, only a fool would think they could stay on top of the heap for more than a few years. I can't wait for all the whinning to begin in a couple of years, scratch that it will start next year. I also think volnation will free itself of some of the arrogant UF trolls in the next couple of years. They simply won't have as much to brag about. We had peyton, i enjoyed his time here. Uf has tebag, they better enjoy his last year. They're going to miss him dearly and you won't be able to wipe the smile off my face.

You can be glibly dismissive of the SEC all you want (hasn;t worked out to well for the Big Ten and the Big 12 the last few years), but my comment was in response to yours, that in the mid-90s Spurrier's offenses had it easy because the SEC was "down."

Spurrier brought a new style of offense in and stocked it with the right kinds of players to run it. He sucked at the Redskins and seems to just be stuck in second gear at SoCar, I'll grant you that. But what he did at Florida in the 90's should not be so easily passed off as a quirk of weakness in SEC defenses.

Spurrier was a good coach. He really went to SC junior at the wrong time, he could have won there in the 90's. Now at SC everyone's just waiting for when he says enough is enough. I bet he regrets ever leaving UF. About all i can say is he really must like playing golf a lot.

You are probably one the same genius fortune tellers that a few years ago said Urban Meyer's spread offense will never work in the SEC.

I'll save this little gem for a few years down the road when Kiffin is gone from Tennessee and the Gators have a couple more SEC championships. Hope and wish all you like and saying won't make it so- the Gators aren't going anywhere. Johnny Brantley is a stud.

The best thing and the reason florida is where they are at is the fact UM and fsu have been down for going on five years once their programs pick back up florida will be back to earth they'll be good but they won't be playing for it all every year lets not forget they are only one year removed from a 4 loss season.

Save it, you won't be bringing it back up. Enjoy tebag's swan song. John brantley doesn't scare me.

I noticed that you did not say BCS championships.
