President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I know you desperately wish to believe all of that.
Here's the thing. All republicans are not equally divisive nor do they all view the best route forward as being more divisive.
All democrats are not equally divisive nor do they all view the best route forward as being more divisive.
I desperately wish it weren't true. But it is.

Do you know what exponentially means?
I'm guessing 2nd grade in a rural elementary school. (Which is very admirable work.)

Are you seriously trying to suggest prices haven’t increased significantly? When people use the word “exponentially” they don’t literally mean to the 2nd or 3rd power. They mean significantly and you know this. You are just trying to deflect from your idiotic statement.

How dense are you people?
You act as if nothing changes and the only expenses are food and gas.
Here are a couple of hypotheticals you can view as a mental exercise.
In 2021 Bob has a daily commute of 100 miles roundtrip and gas prices averaged $2.39 per gallon for the year.
In 2022 Bob's commute is 20 miles roundtrip and he works from home 3 days a week. Gas averages $3.89 per gallon.
Did Bob's gasoline expenses increase of decrease?

In 2021, Sue bought food to feed 3 people. Sue spent an average of $75 per person per week on groceries.
In 2022, Sue bought food to feed 2 people. Sue spent an average of $90 per person per week (more steaks).
Did Sue's food expenses increase or decrease?
So all you have are hypotheticals, not reality. And you minimize food and gas when gas is the input to every other activity in the economy. And I assume you eat everyday, so not sure how you can minimize that.

Good grief, what do you teach?
I was talking about MY expenses. I specifically said MY salary was up and MY expenses were down.
I'll give you another hypothetical....maybe use a calculator.
You drive a truck that gets 14 mpg and gas costs $2.39 per gallon. How much is your gas expense per mile?

A year later gas is $3.69 per gallon but you traded your truck for a car that gets 31 mpg. How much is your gas expense per mile?

Did your expenses for gas go up or down?
You paid over a dollar more per gallon...

Book smarts vs common sense

lol........
I haven't minimized anything.
I accurately and honestly stated that my expenses are less now than they were two years ago.
Several posters took such offense to that truthful statement that they actually called me a liar.
The rest has been nothing more than me showing them why their accusation was wrong.....albeit very Trumpian.

So?
When you paid $2.39 you paid over a dollar more than when you paid $1.29
When you paid $3.69 you paid fifty cents less than when you paid $4.19.

None of that is applicable to my point.

Are you making stuff up or are you claiming you got better value from a truck trade-in that exceeded the replacement cost of the car?

It’s because you are flat out lying.

I am still waiting for an explanation on how Puddin' heads policies have helped the middle class out from loother. People like me. I want specifics.

Hypothetically if you stopped driving a car, quit eating, got a raise, and no longer have a utility bill then you are better off per Luther.

Potato in Chief is going to visit Buffalo to console the shooting victim families. The worthless no good bastard couldn’t be bothered to visit the Waukesha parade victims families.

You mentioned something that I've been thinking about, likely the wrong thread... but I would expect the Biden Administration to come out soon with new gun regulations in response to this.

Per Luther, every accountant who has ever lived, and anyone with a lick of sense;
if your expenses go down and your revenue goes up, it's a net positive.

Well you just said it. Your expenses (outcome) may increase but you may have a substantially higher jump in income. Sure, your net profits increase, but that doesn't mean your expenses decreased.

You changed the baseline conditions and destroyed any possibility of a valid relative comparison you mental midget.
Nope. You're batting 0 tonight.

My original statement hasn't changed.....My expenses are less than they were 2 years ago and my salary is higher.
It was true the first time I said it and it's still true.
Everything that followed was idiots trying to disprove a statement that is 100% true.
Glad you joined in with the others. Maybe you guys can combine brain power and come up with one semi-relative response.
