Canceled: Senate Dems Nix ‘Disinformation’ Hearing After Embarrassing Jankowicz Videos Surface

Senate Democrats abruptly canceled a hearing at which President Joe Biden's new disinformation czar Nina Jankowicz was expected to testify, a decision made after embarrassing videos posted by the self-proclaimed "Mary Poppins of disinformation" sparked a political firestorm.

Senate Democrats planned to hold a May 10 hearing on "disinformation, misinformation, and malinformation," just a couple of weeks after Biden tapped Jankowicz to head his administration's newly created Disinformation Governance Board. Democratic leaders were reluctant to have Jankowicz face Republican questioning, however, prompting them to nix the hearing, three Senate offices told the Washington Free Beacon.

"They yanked it when the entire ‘disinformation board' blew up," one senior aide told the Free Beacon. "They realized there's no way they could reschedule without Nina Jankowicz being called to testify."

The fact that biden has over 40% of the population still viewing his favorably is alarming. The hard core left aren't giving up; the midterms aren't necessarily going to be the bloodbath that normally rational people are expecting. The 81M aren't going down gracefully. The only good sign is that the congressional races last time around weren't generally reflected in the presidential vote ... except in cheating GA - idiots and runoffs.

So this appears to be the heads up that Biden is about to start trying to ram through all the Socialist wish-list items like student loan forgiveness with executive orders since he can't even get the required number of votes from his own party.

A better indicator would be to show total spending and then how much of that spending was "legacy" spending. The stuff that every administration inherits and can't avoid courtesy of previous administrations and congresses. Break down the legacy spending into what prompts it and then you have the culprit for the real overspending. Straight up Social Security should not be factored into the equation just as SS taxes shouldn't be dumped into general revenue; however all the SS perversions added over the past decades should be tied back to the initiators. The other thing is to figure out where the tipping point is - the time when legacy spending crosses tax revenue before the new administration presents any new spending at all. That day is coming.

Except new presidents can't erase blunders made by past presidents. One example would be obamaCare; it's almost impossible to walk back. Even border policy is much the same; once an administration opens the faucet and refuses to address the situation, it's harder for following administrations to fix it. Easy to squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube and virtually impossible to put it back in.

So if a president can't stop and can't divert funds allocated by congress, how can an administration spend money not allocated by congress or cancel debt (government backed or otherwise)?

The Democrats are hoping that everyone looks at their shiny distractions while ignoring everything that is happening to them. It’s what they do. They attempt to make every election the “most important”, every social issue that affects 1 percentage of the population is “dire”, and everyone who disagrees is a phobic of some sort. I can assure you if Trump were President there would be a running ticker calculating the real time increase of gas prices and food prices on every major news channel.

So this statement is one thing I’ve been scratching my head on also. For any huge sum of money it has to be allocated by Congress for a specific purpose. So when they’re talking about the idiot in chief cancelling a bunch of student loan debt it isn’t clear to me he has that authority. The executive has some authority on sole funds but I don’t see how it can just magically be extended to this level of a massive socialist bailout.

EXCLUSIVE: Former Trump aide Posts Online a Searchable Database containing a Huge Trove of more than 120,000 Emails from Hunter Biden's abandoned Laptop, calling them 'a modern day Rosetta Stone of white and blue collar crime'

More than 120,000 emails found on Hunter Biden’s discarded laptop have been posted online by a former Trump White House staffer.

Garrett Ziegler, a former aide to Peter Navarro in Donald Trump’s Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, uploaded 128,775 emails to a searchable database this week through his organization Marco Polo.

The site, BidenLaptopEmails.com, also allows users to download all the emails for Mac or Windows computers.

Among the thousands of emails in the publicly posted database is the infamous ’10 for the big guy’ message, in which Hunter’s business partner James Gilliar appeared to suggest Hunter should hold 10% of the equity in their multi-million-dollar deal with the Chinese on behalf of his father, President Joe Biden.

Another email in the database, previously published by DailyMail.com, shows Hunter describing an extraordinary apparent quid pro quo with a Mexican billionaire’s son, outlining how he got him into the White House and inauguration, and thanking him for visits to his villa.

Some messages did not appear to be included in the database. One email published by DailyMail.com shows Hunter inviting his foreign business partners and associates to a 2015 dinner at Washington DC restaurant Café Milano.

In the email he reveals that his father will secretly be joining – and says that the dinner is ‘ostensibly to discuss food security’. The White House at first denied the then-vice president was there, but eventually admitted it when photographs emerged from the event.
