REVEALED: How YOU are Paying for Migrants to take charter flights: Secret Taxpayer-Funded Trips Costing Tens of Thousands of Dollars ferry asylum seekers from border to inland cities ahead of Title 42 Rush Next Week

  • The federal government is transporting migrants to various U.S. cities on private charter flights funded with taxpayer dollars
  • Lawmakers allege the feds are bringing the migrants from border cities to their regions without prior notification
Secret government charter flights paid for by taxpayer funds are quietly transporting migrants from the southern border to other cities across the U.S.

The flights, which take off from border cities like El Paso, Texas, are taking busloads of illegal aliens to various cities around the country including Jacksonville, Florida, Alexandria, Louisiana and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Lawmakers are demanding more transparency about the flights and where the migrants are going, with some state and regional leaders alleging they were not informed about the relocation plans.

'Health and Human Services has misled me or lied to me several times. I have asked, they actually told me any flights coming into Pennsylvania we will notify you and the local schools,' Congressman Dan Meuser (R-Pa.) told NewsNation. 'They didn't. They haven't notified us once.'

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) criticized President Joe Biden's 'secretive operations,' claiming the federal government has been bringing migrants into Jacksonville without alerting the state.

I have to admit that I'm really intrigued to see what role this moron thinks Congress has to play here. I haven't dug into the details of this story yet. I know that the FDA was investigating potential baby formula contamination in the plant. Did the FDA order Abbott to shut down the production facility, or did Abbott do that voluntarily?

Is Pelosi wanting to indict Abbott Laboratories for shutting down their production facility? If the FDA ordered it, then they had no choice. If the FDA didn't order the plant to be closed, then it's the company's choice. You can't order them to produce a product.

Is Pelosi wanting to indict Abbott Laboratories for the cases of product contamination? That's not a role for Congress. That's the role of general liability insurance unless you're going to claim that they were intentionally trying to kill babies. Now wouldn't THAT be the liberal pot calling the kettle black!

The highest count I've found is 8 babies made ill by the formula out of who knows how many thousands. It is serious, and at least a couple of babies died. The best any reports have shown was linking the possible cause to certain lots of powered formula which makes up just part of what goes into the baby bottle - water - users didn't follow instructions or sanitation requirements. Supposedly the liquid formula is still on the market, and it didn't appear anybody had definitively tied the bacterial contamination to the processing plant. Looks like the FDA strung together a few observed violations and jumped on a shutdown. Makes you wonder just who Pelosi plans to go after because the shutdown by the FDA doesn't really seem warranted.

Fact checkers are going to work some OT on this...

Probably all false - the guy said he discovered this on Monday and fact checkers proved he found it on Tuesday or some such nonsense. Credibility isn't high with fact checkers. The look for loopholes like lawyers - truth isn't the important thing.

Kinda like people saying Reagan was better than a second Carter term.
Some things are just unknowable.

Well that particular instance is pretty knowable. Carter had "Most Incompetent" well in hand until biden came along. And, no, I don't agree with a lot of things Reagan did. He (his administration anyway) got plenty right, and plenty wrong.

That was the point I was hoping to convey.
Obviously all speculations are not equally speculative.
Some things that are not definitively knowable can still be relatively knowable.

On the continuum, Biden is easily the worst President of my lifetime thus far. And we all know how important that continuum is.
I am glad to see you using a continuum. Once you acknowledge all politicians are not equally bad, you can start focusing on electing the one who is at least less bad.

BTW - Trump is by far and away the worst on my continuum.

The problem with Luth's continuum is that it is actually a ring.
While it's certainly true that all continuums are not linear, I do not believe the quality of president continuum is a circle; at most it's a parabola. Now the intelligence continuum on the other hand, that very well may be a circle.

I call BS on that story. My guess is the kid is a total jerk and his mom is even worse.
But it's not surprising to see Fox continue in it's efforts of manipulating it's consumers into holding public education in as low regard as possible. That has always been one of their pillars.....and one more thing that they do that ultimately makes the country worse off.

Nice. You don’t know the kid but he’s a jerk. Why? Cause he doesn’t want to participate in the silliness.

That's an opinion of a public educator that says there is no reason the public looks unfavorable toward public education...funny he can't seem to understand why??? What a joke

I don't know that he is a jerk, but I'm about 98% certain that he is.
Write it off to decades of experience with tens of thousands of kids - and their parents.

Because identifying jerky kids and jerky parents is relatively easy?
Anyone with experience would know. Anyone with no experience has no experience.
I know why many in the public look unfavorably toward public education.....50 years of focused and concentrated effort by conservative media to portray public education in the worst possible way. It's had much of the desired impact.
