The have to accept the pardon, please review hunters docket as his lawyer tried to pull that. You are accepting guilt of the crime than the defendant can't claim the 5th in further testimony.

The don't have immunity...they have a get out jail card.

Hunter accepted guilt by filing the pardon. The pardon is moot until accepted.

Otherwise they can claim the 5th.

So, lets say the defendant murdered someone....you indict the person...they could accept the pardon anytime by filing the pardon on the docket....the case will close but not dismissed. They than can have the person testify as to where the body is.
