with the Medal of Freedom (highest award a civilian can earn). This was announced a couple of minutes ago from the White House. What an honor.

She is absolutely deserving of this honor. And I feel tremendous pride that I can claim her as ours.

This is a much deserved honor that nobody would have noticed had it not been bestowed. We should all be proud of a person who has represented our University with dignity and pride.

Thanks but I didn't need the edit.

Wow!!!!! What an honor!!!! I've got goosebumps just thinking about it. What a way to celebrate her career!!! By the way, UT this would be good timing to rename TBA "The Summitt" not just the game floor! Here's to you, Coach Summitt!!!!:hi::clapping::salute:
