Press Conference????

people were talking about press conference in several recent threads... i have been off the internet for most of the day and am trying to catch up on what is going on with our off the cuff three ring circus coaching search...

If we do in fact hire Strong, what does this say about the new coaches in the SEC and the conference - Arkansas hires the coach from the Big 10 conference champion; Auburn hires the coach from the Sun Belt Conference Champion; Tennessee hires the coach from the highest ranked Big East team. Only UK went for a coordinator. The league just keeps getting nastier. I hope we have a good showing in the bowls with the rankings.

I believe it will be a morning press conference. I don't know when, or who the hire will be, but I just have a feeling it'll get announced early on that particular day. Call me crazy.

I will go with:
1. No school in the SEC attracts NFL coaches
2. Current coaches in the SEC that are winning will stay at the school they represent currently, so noone was able to buy a coach from another SEC school.
3. Noone was crazy enough to hire a fired SEC coach.

Is it true cannibals don’t eat clowns because they taste funny?
If all the world’s a stage, where does the audience sit?

With the SEC having so many teams ranked in the top 10 there is going to be uneven matchups in almost every bowl game. SEC>others. Its a shame this year had the potential for great matchups in the bowls.

No. Clowns taste like rubber chicken.
There is no audience. You're all just supporting actors in my head.
