Princeton Fant will have a great NFL career

This guy can play 3 positions, and play them well. TE, Full Back, and H-Back. A real Swiss army knife on offense.

Would be a nice compliment to Kamara in NO imo. The Saints currently have several former Vols on the roster and Fant measures at the size teams are looking for right now.

Versatility is key for those last 6-8 roster spots in the NFL. Need to see him on the kickoff and punt teams to see how he tackles.

This is a great point. Those final spots often go to guys who weren’t college stars, but who fill multiple roles, because they can only carry 53 players. Fant has a good shot to make a roster for that reason. Kinda like Jakob Johnson did.

I noticed in some UCF games that Heupel used an H-back quite effectively. It is similar to how Mark Richt used to do at Georgia. You can see this integrated as an offensive weapon with Fant. Kudos to the offensive coaching staff as well as Princeton Fant. Many scoffed (as did I) a few weeks ago when he got snaps at fullback - but the 2-point conversion vs. Bama was a thing of beauty and there is more now in the playbook.

I think Fant definitely gets in camp somewhere. Will not be surprised if he’s a late round draft pick. Big, athletic dude that is showing a good bit of versatility. I’m pulling for the guy.
