Volnation,

My good friend and his family (all VOLS by the way) just received some difficult news. Their 4-year-old daughter Ellie Copeland already had a tumor removed from her brain, and additional surgery/radiation are likely to follow. As you can imagine, the physical/emotional/financial toll has been a lot to bear.

Ellie has a gofundme.com site (see link below) where anyone can donate to her cause. I would like to offer volnation an 8x10 signed Rocky Top print (unmatted) for anyone who donates $25 or more. Just send me an email at tennesseeprints@gmail.com with your address and donation confirmation, and I'll get it to you. I will initially commit 200 prints, and I may be able to do more.

Additionally, prayers on Ellie's behalf really do make a difference. Please remember them in this difficult time, and thank you for the support.

Prayers sent. I read the page and their choice to go to Vanderbilt they will not regret. I had a tumor on my brain about 7 years ago which caused epilepsy. Multiple doctors said I would have to live with it because no surgeons would touch it. Long story short, Dr. Pearson with Vanderbilt took one look at the MRI and said "this will be easy". She's in good hands Peyton berry if they decide to go to VU

For those interested, here is an update on Ellie's doctor visit yesterday. Thank you again for the support:

We had Ellie's Oncology appt. this morning. She was happy, because even though we were there for over 2 hours, there were no "ouchies." The doctor suggested we monitor the tumor w/ MRI every 6 weeks, then every 8 weeks, then every 3 months. If there is no change in a year or 2 we should be ok. If there is a change/growth of the tumor we will start chemo. She would have it an average of once a week for a year.
We love an appreciate your prayers! I know this is in Heavenly Father's hands and trust that whatever comes, He loves Ellie and me. I know He knows best.
