Pro golfer charged for killing bird with golf shot

I almost said Randy Johnson didn't get charged with anything, but I guess it wasn't intentional...Or was it? :)

What they should be charging this man with is a excellent golf shot. To be able to hit a dang bird and kill it.....amazing...

This guy is an idiot who clearly knows zero about golf.

"He just kept saying how he didn't think he could have hit it, which I think is a stupid thing for a PGA Tour golfer to say," said Jethro Senger, a sound engineer at the shoot. "He can put a ball in a hole from hundreds of yards away, and here he is hitting line drives at something that's, I don't know, a couple hundred feet away?"

you mean with your two handicap you can't regularly put balls in the hole from 150 out? I do at least twice every time i play. . .

. . .on Wii. In real life with over 1000 rounds under my belt, I've hit one 75 yard shot with a SW into the hole.

I think I've holed out from over 100 yards about 3 times in my life, so that makes me 3 for 100,000.

that's roughly, give or take, about three times more than i've even come close to making it.

:eek:lol:

by the way, the only thing cooler than Randy Johnson's beaning of the bird I've seen was when I was riding in a friend's car and a bird flew under it. Not sure if it hit the bottom of the car or the pavement, but all we saw were feathers fly up from the back end of the car very similar to the Johnson bird.

To add to the puns, this is what is known as a red herring:

"Isenhour said his family has adopted three cats from a local shelter."

It's OK to use a Red Herring . . . just make sure you don't hit a golf ball at it.

The sheer water tension would prohibit the herring from sustaining any injuries.
