I am driving down from Kentucky to watch the game Saturday. Every time I have came down I have spent the night before in a hotel and took a shuttle to the game. I am not doing that this time and to be quite honest I have NO CLUE where to go or what to do about parking. Can somebody please help me? I'd really appreciate it.

You can go to the Agricultural campus at UTK and get a free ride to the game on a bus. Hope that helps.

Probably should clarify more. You can park free at the Ag Campus, and then you get a free bus ride to the game if you are driving.

Yes it does, kind of. lol I will have to find out where that is. Thanks so much!

Details on utsports.com tell you where the Ag Campus is. Or you can get directions from a GPS/mapquest/google maps, etc.

Probably ur best bet... I usually just walk from there though... Too impatient to wait for bus.. The lines for buses after the games r terrible... I'd way rather walk than stand n those lines..

Basically, take the Neyland Drive exit off Alcoa Highway or turn onto Neyland Drive off Kingston Pike then turn left where you see several Knoxville Area Transit buses lined up. There are several huge lots around the buildings there where you can park for free. Shuttle service begins two hours prior to the tip and returns from Thompson-Boling Arena for an hour post-game.

There will be no waiting to get there, but as was mentioned, those buses get packed on the way back... it really depends on how the game goes though.

I've gone to two games this year (ETSU and Chattanooga) and the lines weren't long at all, but for UK they will be.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying... Big games make the lines after the game ridiculous... There r like 4 lines, and I still waited n line about an hr til I decided to just hoof it... And that was Vandy I believe... They get even worse than that.. less significant games r totally different atmospheres from conference games... Uk game will be nuts.

Yeah. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk and you get a nice look at Neyland if you want.

Is it wrong of me to not want to give away my favorite place to park for bball games on here? It is always close to capacity and not the biggest lot on campus. lol

??? If you are walking to the AG campus by way of Neyland, you took the LONG way back to the AG campus. LOL. You can get a distant view of it from the Tommy Bowl, but if you walk towards Neyland to get an up close view, you are going the complete opposite way of the AG campus.

I'm sure you mean a distant view, I'm just busting your chops.

I usually just part on Clinch St off 16th (one exit past the stadium exit coming West on I-40). I'm used to the walk because that's where I park for football. There's probably closer for hoops though.

OH yeah. I wasn't talking about right up close.

you can always hang out after the game and watch the coach martin show and catch the bus after that. the bus wont be crowded and you wont have to wait in line on a bus.
