What does everyone think the final score will be for this years edition of the probation bowl???

I think:

Miami-23
FSU-14

I think it will be close and FSU will finally get over the hump

FSU-17
UM- 14

Call me crazy but FSU might do it....I know Miami is probably in their heads by now as many times as they've beat them but you gotta think that sooner or later FSU will buck up and beat them

Because it seems like every player that comes through Miami is a thug(Warren Sapp, Ray Lewis, Michael Irvin just to name a few). Now they have a LB whose record is as long as your arm. I don't know why someone would call them Thug U.

As for FSU, they will always be known as Free Shoes University even though Bobby Bowden is a helluva coach.

WOW!!! So what makes them a thug? Describe a thug please?...you just named some very great players that give back to there communities! As you can tell no one has a right to call anyone else a thug...how would you like it if your child was called a thug?

I have to pick Miami, but given my luck this year at picking, I guess FSU will win.

Opps forgot the score.

Miami 24
FSU 17

I think there will be a suprise here. Everybody is so sold on Miami winning the game, that FSU might pull the suprise.

Now damnit.....another post deleted. :banghead:

I'll try again.

Basiclly, Miami is Thug U because they continually recruit and sign the players that break the law over and over again, and proudly call those players stars. The current guy I think is named Williams. He has several felonies if I'm not mistaken.

Ahh ok I gotcha....So you know this as a fact? So if Dee Morley had signed with Miami would he have been a thug or are you calling him a thug since he is from Miami? When we sign more players from the Miami area are they going to be called thugs also?

What do you want me to say? It has nothing to do with where he is from, or even what color he is. *Gasp* I know that might shock you.

What it has to do with, is EXACTLY what I just explained.

Miami University is called Thug U (Atleast by myself and those I know) because they continually sign players that have trouble with the law, or after they leave they have major problems with the law. (IE Ray Lewis being part of a murder, Michael Irvin being involved with Cocaine) That is IT. Period. No agenda here.

As for Williams, yes, I know thats the case because it is WIDELY reported that he has had all those problems. It's not a big secret.

We have had players that have had trouble with the law! Should we be called UThug?

I will say however that I would classify Banks as a Thug and even some of the players still on the team.

It's a pretty universal term. However, Tennessee does not CONTINUALLY sign players that they KNOW are involved in these issues. Infact Respert was the only one I remember them taking with pre-existiog problems, and he was changed while he was here. I don't remember Miami making a difference like that in kids. Just look at the Soldier K Winslow and what UM did for him.

I'm not sure. I was trying to figure out why a TENN fan would be taking up for Miami. But then again, I am surprised here EVERY day.

I gotta go to bed though kids. Talk to you later.

I think it's great to know that you really enjoy calling some of our players "Thugs" or people in general a thug! Great job buddy! I wonder how you would feel if your kids were called thugs.

Well, I never said I "enjoyed" it. But I'm not blinded by certain prejudices that would keep me from recognizing the TRUTH.

As for my children. I'd be pissed if my kid was called a thug. Pissed at MYSELF for not teaching them right from wrong.

Sorry this bothers you so much, but I don't think the Tennessee Football Board is the place to discuss it. If you want to continue. Feel free to PM me and I will continue discussing it with you, but let's spare everyone the drama of our discussion. There really isn't a place for it here.

But why did you even bring it up. SO what miami has players that have gotten themselves in trouble. Miami tries to give them a way out of there orignial life they had been living and tries to give them a future. No harm there.
