Morning,VolNation! We are back on the road to relevance! I was wondering who yall project as our starters vs. A.P. in 2013. I`m on mobile,so I`ll not be able to put the full depth chart, but I would certainly welcome 1 from a VF. I believe Worley and Neal start. We will have our entire line back excepting Dallas. Who starts for him and WR? On D I have no clue! The Beast will play MLB? or OLB? Could someone help me? GO VOLS!

Lol at the WR spots. Thank God for the spread or we would never be able to throw the ball.

How about Alden Hill at FB? I don't see him getting many carries at TB. Will Channing Fugate move back to FB? Says a lot about the LBs if you need him there for depth. I don't think Harris has enough speed to start at OLB. Dontavis Sapp should until somebody else steps up. Will Brewer end up at S or OLB? What about O'Brien? I will be disappointed if he at least isn't in the rotation at DT. I am eager to see some of these guys who haven't played, i.e. Bowles, Croom, O'Brien, Peterman, Hill, Kerbyson, and Crowder to name a few. No way Moore starts ahead of McNeil.

Big concerns on Defense, Where is the Speed in the back 7?

We definitely have speed now in the backfield. Randolph, McNeil, Coleman, Gray, Bonner, Riyahd, and Reeves-Maybin all have SEC level speed. Just have to put with technique and better coaching.

The defensive line always runs in a rotation in a good 4-3.Look at the New York giants last year. Danny would be the second string ng, as sentimore is our second string utility tackle.

Moore was definitely a bright spot for us buddy. He took over that safety spot. Randolph won't be back till mid season then he will be our other safety

I find it baffling that your top priority for a Quarterback is his ability to run. Shouldn't we go with the guy with the best and most accurate arm? Running is just a bonus in a QB.

If I am correct, he is basing it upon having a dual threat qb, rather than being stuck in the pocket and not making the D defend the whole field and every weapon. And that's without even considering the offense it appears we will run. I have been waiting on it for years. I have missed the Tee and Heath type teams. It wins a lot of games and those were the most enjoyable times of football for me personally. There are many, many factors in why we haven't won anything in years, and being one dimensional at the qb position is one of them.

Look at our big uglies! They are the best part of our offense. We have a good 1-2 punch in Neal and Lane, for those reason and others, we are going to run, run, run, and wait more run.

Why are we expecting Bynum to start? I thought LaTroy Lewis was pegged to play a lot last year before getting hurt. Also Harris should be ready to roll.

It's an open battle like almost every job is. I think Harris has been ready for awhile now. He can gain some speed, and learn the playbook.

I never said Moore wasn't good...buddy. All I said was there is no way he should start over McNeil. I think most would agree. Moore probably will be a starter in 2013. At least until Randolph returns.

A pro spread QB is not required to scramble. It can't be said enough on this board. He is only required to have to ability to gets his playmakers the ball in space. Ability to run is a bonus.

Why do people think Neal starts over Lane. Lane finally came on end of last season and showed the talent he has. Lane is definitely the better back and I think he finally is trusting his knee. I dont see any situation that Neal starts over Lane, jmo. Lane really played well the 2nd half of the season and once he became the starter. But either way I think both will do well in this offense. Just hope Green is there battling for touch's as well.

Agreed, but it doesnt hurt either. Peterman is the more mobile of the 2 and by far has the better arm. I dont know if CBJ recruited Worley but he did want Peterman. Think Peterman and Ferguson are the ideal guys for his offense. Dual Threat QB's definitely arent required for his offense.

Marlin Lane on one side and Neal on the other. We are going to run the ball a lot if you look at our talent coming back. We need a qb who can run the option a lot.

Did Jordan Williams even play this year? I expected a big year but seems like he got lost in the 3-4
