I forgot about this when it originally aired but was looking at some stuff on-demand and saw this so over the past week I have been watching an episode or two or three a night on-demand and have to say it was really good.
It's only a 10-episode first season so it was very easy to knock this out. I found the characters likable with a solid cast Matthew Modine playing a Steve Jobs type character a tech billionaire who has a tumor & cancer who seeks to know what comes after death.
Then there is Jennifer Beals who plays one of the top cardiac surgeons in the country. Modines character gets Beals character to investigate supernatural cases of reincarnation, near-death experiences, and hauntings, in hopes to find evidence that death is not final.
Also stars David Sutcliffe as Beals ex-husband & fellow surgeon, Joe Morton & Annie Thurman (Nashville native & a Lindsay Lohan look a like IMO) as Beals & Sutcliffe's daughter.
I want give it all away but if you have some time at least check out the first couple of episodes!
I haven't seen if it will get a second season but it got really good ratings overall and the last two episodes of the season got a (2.32) & (2.12)
By the way Jennifer Beals looks way better now at 50 than she ever did IMO back in her Flashdance days!
