Props to Cal (although I'll be attendance cheering against him March 6).

Since I have dogged the guy for leaving Memphis, I just wanted to note how after he lost to Ole Miss last night in a nailbitter ,how respectful he was after the game shaking hands with the Ole Miss coach and I think he even said "Good game". Just made me think of how some coaches or guys lose and don't bother to be respectful after games more resentful.

WHAT????? I turned that game off because I thought that UK was going to ultimately pull it out. Dammit. Why do I always do that? :banghead2: But I give props to Ole Miss for beating them. I wish nothing but failure on UK and especially Calamari.

Did you not see him poke his lips out and throw a temper tantrum just a few seconds before...? He must have embarassed himself...so he was trying to act like a big boy after the game. Oil Can Cal can kiss Ole Rusty! :hi:

I thought the two coaches generally always shake hands and say, "Good game," afterwards.

Nor does it to discuss coach Calipari here, either.

Lol I was just being a dick for no good reason. I guess I've been influenced by posters like yourself haha.

But I guess the OPost is more relevant to UT than UC football at the moment.

His team lost because they could not stop turning the ball over and allowing Ole Miss to keep making runs, I don't know why he would not shake hands.

It's pretty embarrassing that UK is looking up in the standings to a team being lead by an AAU coach. I'd be more worried about that than anything UT fans are saying.

And yes, Calapari has embarrassed himself with his antics recently. Starting with his nurturing attitude towards Jones.

His antics recently....are we still talking about him cussing at Jones? Have you ever watched Coach K, Bobby Knight, Jim Calhoun or Phil Jackson? Yeah, they never cuss at players.

As for looking up at teams in the SEC, who cares? Its conference junk...UK lost 5 players last year, were in the NIT the year before and they are ranked 11 right now. Thats pretty impressive in anyones book.

Hate Cal as much as you want, but if he was still at Memphis, your state would throw the bank at him to get him to UT if Pearl gets fired. I know you wont admit it, but he's a top 4 coach in the country right now.

Why would I want to hire someone with two vacated Final Fours to replace a guy who got suspended by the NCAA? Pretty stupid argument.

No question he is a top 4 recruiter, but not a top 4 floor coach.

Number 1 recruiter....top 5 coach. No coach in history can take a team full of 5 star freshman and turn all of them into unselfish players all while teaching them on the fly organized plays and keeping everyone happy with no transfers or arguments about playing time.

I know its just an opinion on the coaching part, but Memphis is a perfect example how coaching is a much bigger deal than people think.

His recruiting sales pitch is worse than Kiffin...come play a year and then go to the NBA....will not win the NCAA Tourney!

Who cares what his sales pitch is? He's beating out UNC, Duke and Kansas for McDonalds All Americans.

As for never winning a title.....he's been at UK a year and a half and made it to the elite 8 after an NIT season. Odds are he'll win one, and next year looks pretty good. UK will have the best class in UK history, and maybe the best in NCAA history.

Ask yourself. He'd be your number 1 target if he was still at Memphis and Pearl left. Deny it all you want, but its the truth.

The NCAA has 2 types of infractions. The kind that the players make, and the kind that the coaches make. Cal is still coaching at the highest collegiate level because of the vacated final fours laying directly in the players wrong doings.

Is it Pearls fault that his own players were caught with guns and weed last season just miles away from campus? So how can you blame Cal for a kid cheating on a test 700 miles away in high school after he was cleared to play twice by the ncaa?

I was hoping to see an "amazing" picture of Calipari sitting on riverbank, staring out in the open blue sky. . .
