He’s been money since the fumble against Florida. He’s not on the level of UGA’s TE (who is), but he’s been above average this year as a receiving TE for a big guy.

He had that fumble in the Florida game early. But then on that 99-yard drive, he made a big catch on a third and long at the 20 to keep that drive going. That was huge.
He caught another shovel pass to convert a fourth down against Florida (I think, or maybe it was LSU).
It was GREAT to see him in the FB position.
It's great to see his improvement.

We’ve been waiting for the Fant project to show some results for like six years. He was always a gifted athlete but raw so I think coaching turnover hurt his progression. He’s a VFL for sure and as much as I’ve cussed him over the years I’m really glad to see him making plays.

He could have shut it down after some of his results but he keeps coming up big. Mad props.

They have been giving him reps in practice at FB/RB. I bet we see him more in goal line situations.

He has made the play look really effective for us. It seems like that never really took off in our offenses in the past. Come to think of it, a lot of plays look effective now.
