James eliminates Florida

Jordon James has eliminated Florida and is considering Tennessee among others.

"Right now, I have three trips lined up. Notre Dame (Oct. 17), Arizona (Nov. 7) and UCLA (Nov. 21). I'm also talking with Washington and I'm going to try and get a visit set up with them later this week. For my last visit, I'm looking at a number of schools including Cal and Tennessee."

the buzz is that Sims has been unhappy with Bama's dishonesty with him (telling him that he would get his first look at QB, then recruiting Phillip Sims immediately after taking his pledge) and that Georgia said "no thanks" due to their lack of available spots.

There are also rumors, unfounded at this point but from a good source, that Crisp is now seriously thinking about Georgia. The Dawgs were one of his favorites when he committed to NC State. More to come.

Rob Lewis just said that Ambles maybe close to a decision and rumor has it that it's either Florida or us, with UT having a slight lead. VERY interesting.

Darius Kilgo has UT in top two

Per Charleston Post & Courier:

South Carolina is in the final two with Darius Kilgo (6-4, 305) of Charlotte along with Tennessee. He has offers from Illinois, Maryland, East Carolina, Minnesota and Michigan State. Kilgo attended South Carolina's lineman camp earlier in the summer and will visit Tennessee in a couple of weeks. He plans a decision sometime during his season.
