Watching Olympic volleyball, Cuba's Alayo could make a really good DE. The guy has a ridiculous wingspan, can jump thru the roof and is quick as a cat. Top pro volleyball players make about $60K/yr. Pay him $75-100K/yr. to play football.

And spend 2-3 years trying to teach the guy to rush the passer, cover from time to time, stop the run, and understand what the offense is trying to do, among countless other things...

Given his is 23 already, you are looking at a 25-26 year old dude before he produces anything. Why not just recruite an actual DE?

Height: 6’11” Weight: 249 lbs

Josua is a Fijian rugby union player who is known for his strong running and physical play. Not surprisingly, he is nicknamed ‘The Bus’.

With tree trunk legs like that, I am sure Josua is a really fun guy to bring down. Too bad we couldn’t find any weightlifting numbers for him online. We did find where he was timed running 90 meters in 10 seconds but that was a guesstimate they did using this video which is as unscientific as it gets.

All you have to do is put him in on passing downs and turn him loose. Statistically, sacks are the most impactful plays in football.
