Prospective Re-aligned conference names

Now that it's inevitable that some seismic shifts in the college landscape will occur in the next few years, what are going to be some of the new conference names. THERE CAN'T BE TWO BIG XII's!!

Yeah it's been Big Ten for about 20 yrs with 11 teams so maybe they keep it. Or maybe they didn't think Big 11 had a good ring to it.

well they accept the 11 aspect of it; if you look at the conference logo, the T is outlined by two 1's (11)

Well I would hope so considering it's the reality. I'm sure they can fit a 2 in there somehow if they keep the name.

Yeah really. But yeah, unless they came under a great deal of scrutiny for it or something, I'd really be shocked to see them change the name

They'll likely just keep the Big 10 name. Having 11 teams never stopped them, and I highly doubt they'll add anymore than 12, at least not in most of our lifetimes.

As far as the Big 10:

The Really Big 12
The Larger 12
The Big 'Uns
The Huge Dozen
The Full Carton of Eggs...but what I really think:

They might go to something with "MidWest" in the name....or if they're guided by Madison Ave. they'll call it the Heartland Conference so they can add and subtract as many teams as they want.
