Prospects at Bearden???

Anybody in the know want to fill us in on any potential interest from UT on some of the kids at Bearden High School in Knoxville? Their starting 5 looks like a DI team. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I have see them play 5 or 6 times this year. There most valuable players are not the most talented guys on the team. I personally don't think any of them are major D1 players. Several fit into a team like Chattanooga or Tennessee Tech. A couple of them were offered by VA Tech a couple of years ago, but they have since pulled those offers. Mainly because they haven't really improved since they were Sophomores and there attitudes suck.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to say I figured as much, but I kinda figured that was the case. :)

I've seen them play a few times. Beastly team they have. Honestly, I think Demonte will be a fine college player.

Parker is probably going to be the best out of them, from what I could tell in the one game I got to watch them.

Apparently, the Vols have no interest in any of the Bearden players. However, Virginia Tech apparently has been in the picture for a couple of them for quite some time. Other schools represented at Bearden games have been Bobby Cremins from College of Charleston, and some assistant coaches from Belmont. I have heard of others, but don't remember them right now. You are right.........they are pretty awesome.
