Can you imagine the fall out from this. What Hart going to do if the avg. attendance for the next 3 years is 30000 to 40000 people if he doesn't work out. The fan base was already to a point of giving up and now this. For the university really this could go far beyond the football field.

i told folks to look out since the gruden debacle. all i can do is cheer on the team and hope they win. we might get to our 800th win by 3 games into next season.

UT made a mistake in the first place by hiring an AD that graduated from alabama. Evidently all the people in the UT administration are ate up with stupidity.

The best way to protest is with our money. Empty seats and no donations will speak louder than anything.

...the school's currently at 799 wins and the first team they play next year is Austin Peay...

Really think we're not getting that 800th win there?

No one is more unhappy than the hire than me. However, what's done is done, and what we have is what will be here for the next four years most likely. Protesting and boycotting will only make things worse for recruiting and speed our descent into obscurity. We just need to man up and support the coach and the players and hope for the best, because it's obvious that what's been done can't be undone anytime soon.

If I were students I would be having a protest outside the AD and chancellor's office calling for their jobs immediately. 1 thing is for sure, don't you ever bring a damn Bama AD to Tennessee. This is depressing

Its not that we hired Jones, its that he made us think expectations were so high, 18 days later...Butch Jones.
