No we didn`t play a perfect game and the staff did not coach a perfect game but, the improvement from last game to this one was spectacular.

Improvement is what we have been wanting to see. It gives us hope for the future. Today we got just that.

Thanks Butch, staff, and players for an excellent effort.
We were inches away from beating the #6 team in the country.

If the team continues to play like they did today, wins against quality teams will come.

Smokey and Uga will need stitches after this one.

Go Vols.

THe crowd stood and cheered after the game to these guys in Orange.Pig,be proud,you gave it all you could on that run;but,the football gods said not yet;but,it will come.I am so proud of our team,our coaches,everydamnbody connected to Tennessee football.Cry .But hold your heads up.We'll get ours soon and now everybody knows it.I and allof vol nation salute you "Men in Orange"

I actually think going for it on the original 4th and 1 was dumb. It went for 50 yds but it was the wrong decision IMO.

Proud Vol fan tonight though

It always sucks to lose but I can't be any more proud of the Vols tonight they fought when most didn't give them a chance and left it all on the field and showed they are not push overs! Good coached game I love the guts to go for it on 4 th down multiple time n using the momentum in the teams favor and not just killing the drive. It also showed a lot of confidence in the players!! The refs were iffy at best. I can't remember the last time that many fans were still there at the end! Great game lets carry this fight on the USC in 2 weeks!! Go VOLS!!!

Proud of the team,proud of the coaches,proud of the crowd,proud of the students,and with a few exceptions proud of volnation.
