We saw a team last night that fought tooth and nail until the final whistle. Their conditioning was much better than under the former coach and unlike his teams, they never quit. They were beat by a bigger and better team but they didn't roll over for them. This team represented Tennessee well and I tip my hat to them.

If we can keep relatively injury free and also keep bUTch at U.T., then we will have some really good seasons ahead of us.

My concern is that once MIchigan & Florida fire their coaches at the seasons end, they will no doudt call bUTch. Would bUTch head to Michigan or the hated Florida, after he has built this program????????????

If it looks that way, the A.D. may need to give bUTch an extension with a huge buyout in late November, before other universities come calling..... Lock bUTch down!!!!

Certainly agree with locking Butch down. A 10% raise and all of the BBQ he can eat for life would be a good start.

Why the **** does this keep coming up?? Why do people think that CBJ is just going to bail because Florida and Michigan's jobs open up??

Michigan I can understand but Florida I don't get. What are the ties. I think Michigan gets on track and gives hoke another year. By then our team will be very good and a contender hopefully. He called this his dream job as well fwiw. I think butch will have some loyalties to Hart due to hart giving him a big break IMO.

I agree with you. A rebuilt TN program is much more attractive than a floundering FL program. TN rebuilt = East Contenders every year!

Michigan due to being a Michigan guy but no ties to Michigan at all (in coaching). I hope he stays around because he can make a big name for himself if he does.

Leaving just makes him have another rebuilding project when we are just trending upwards. Like selling your stocks in a company you have worked so hard in and has so much potential just to start a whole new one.

Idk just my analogy
