Anybody buying PVCT these days? Looking like the FDA could give them a go ahead on their PV-10 treatment for melanoma. Has tripled in price since October. I threw a few nickles at it when it was $1.50 around Christmas. Today is trading at $3.30

Not familiar with this company, but I'm surprised we don't have more stock threads. :hi:

It is a Knoxville bio-pharm company with a patent on an injectable melanoma treatment that has virtually no side effects and excellent rate of killing cancer. Half life of about 30 minutes. Could be the wave of the future if the FDA lets it fly. Should know soon.

How much has the price run up in anticipation of the potential approval?

If I'm remembering correctly, the share price in September was around $0.60 and then there was a shareholders meeting shortly after that, which jumped it up to over a dollar. In November there was a meeting with the FDA to discuss approval. Since then it has been gaining more and more momentum in anticipation of the FDA's publishing of the meeting minutes. A lot of people are very confident that the news will be either good or great. I'm not sure one way or the other, but I had a couple dollars to play around with after Christmas shopping, so I bought in.

Yeah I'm a little skeptical too, which is why I only bought with my "play around" money. Not going to go bankrupt if it tanks.

Opened today at $3.05 and closed after hours at $4.20 on no news release. Lots of volume today at 5.3 million. People loading up on it anticipating good news.

Just broke $5.00 per share. Should be eligible for NASDAQ listing at this point. If not tomorrow, then by close on next Monday.

I'm about to purchase. You better not be steering me wrong.

Lol. Don't let me be the reason you invest. Look into their PV-10 treatment yourself so you know what you're investing in. And expect it to be all or nothing. It either goes long and gets aquired by a Pfizer type, or it tanks. You're not investing in a company, you're investing in a patent whose function as a medical treatment has not yet been approved by the FDA.

It's too late for me to jump in. The guy who spent 1.50 on it should track it a lot more for a good sell point.

I have 1100 shares at around $1.50 per share. I'm going long on this one. If there is good news, it could be up to $30 in short order.

Bear Raid. If you believe in this cancer treatment, now's the time to get in. $2.60 per share. I increased my position with 365 shares at $2.70 per share. I'm long, like I said earlier.

That article is complete fiction, and it was perfectly timed for his Wallstreet buddies to short the devil out of it. Did you see the volume during that raid? 13 million! That's not just a few scared people selling off shares. That's institutional price manipulation. I truly believe in the efficacy of the drug. If it is valued according to its usefulness, then it will be well worth this turmoil.

Call investor relations and ask about their progress. They'll tell you.

No doubt. I'm still up. Regardless, I'm sticking to my guns here. This is a good drug. That Fuerstein article was a hit piece plain and simple.

Blessing in disguise for bears then. I actually was looking at a drug company called novavax that's working on a flu vaccine.

The FDA has advised that Provectus go ahead with their breakthrough therapy designation approval path. That's big news because it essentially means they skip phase 3 trials. The FDA seems to believe in the efficacy of the drug. Pfizer might as well, considering there are two Pfizer execs (including the head of acquisitions) sitting on the board for Provectus.
