Anyone know, if he's going to allow commits to visit other schools, once they commit to us?

Wisconsin does it. They take it to another level by not allowing committed guys to post offers (via twitter) from other schools.

Well that may work with the level of player Wisconsin is recruiting....

Try that with Top100 kids.

I was stunned when I seen it. I be damned if a school threaten to pull my scholly because I tweet an offer due to my hard work.

They should take all of their visits and enjoy it... Take full advantage of the money and the ladies

Dabbo at Clemson doesn’t let players who commit take visits to other schools. Unless they are 5* and then there is some gray area wiggle room. But if they are 3* rules are rules.

This is true, Dabo gives a long lecture about how you are engaged if you commit and no more visits. He says you wouldn’t cheat on your fiancé.

YET, he had no problem getting other COMMITS to Other schools to visit Clemson. Dabo is the ‘guy’ who wants to look/date any woman but his woman better not dare even look your way.

If a kid commits then de-commits after visiting another school then they were never a commit to you in the first place. Let em take their visits.

The fact of the matter is that he is able to get away with it. I hope Pruitt gets our recruiting and program to that point.

I guess, but a kid shouldn't commit if he's still taking visits. That's asking for trouble. Like your wife giving you a free pass

Only if your wife gets to kick you to the curb and take another guy she really wanted more on her wedding day.

The schools don't always honor their commitment. They recruit over kids and leave them hanging every year. Turnabout is fair play as far as I'm concerned.

Commitments mean squat. If you went to a car dealership, just looking around and saw one you loved. Told the guy you were coming back to sign papers in a day or two. You drive down the road a see a nicer color for a better price. You keep your commitment to the 1st dealer???? Nope!!!

Not to mention he apparently can negative recruit with the best of ‘em.

We're not quite in a position to be passing on blue chips

no way should any coach put pressure on a kid to not visit other schools...if they do, they don't belong in coaching...PERIOD...:bad:

In a way, he can.

not in a way that doesn't cut off his nose to spite his face. he doesn't have the equity built up like a saban, meyer or dabo does, that can tell a recruit that if he goes on other visits, his spot will be in jeopardy....cause there's another 4 or 5* ready to take it.

i think CJP is more of the mold that says "hey, don't do it if you're not sure, keep looking, we want you, you have a spot now...but we want you to want to be here".

that said, i also don't get the impression that pruitt is going to stop recruiting a position just because we have commitments...it goes both ways.

Then don't commit until visits are over. Or be okay with the possibility of losing your spot to another recruit who wants to commit and not take visits. IMO
