First class average at best. An above average coach is the key ingredient. He will develop players unlike you know who. Pruitt will be Barnes like hire.

He's been here for TWO MONTHS for Pete's sake. TWO MONTHS after the crap job Currie did with the hiring process. You can't possibly judge this staff by this class. AND he signed some good talent in the early period. You are one of the way too many of our fans that have some crazy expectation that he was supposed to come in here and pull a top 5 class with the early signing period working against him, and the curse of our last coach and old administration hanging over us.

A) I'm not raging at all.

B) Barnes is known for getting 3* recruits and coaching them up. While I have been a fan of Barnes from day 1, his knock is not getting big names. That dude is equating the short amount of time Pruitt and this staff have had to recruit is going to equal out to getting a bunch of 3* guys and never getting the big boys. To which I say there's no possible way to come to that conclusion from the amount of time and the situation.

C)Do you not understand the connotation of suggesting that he's a Rick Barnes means he doesn't recruit well?

Boy, I tell ya. Of all the coaches interviewed, Pruitt seemed to be significantly the most drained & tired.

Hope that's not a harbringer of things to come this NSD.

I didn't say he nor Barnes couldnt recruit. I love Barnes and the players he has broight in from day 1. I said he would be like Barnes and get more out of his players than our past piece of crap coach. My post had nothing to do with the short amount of time the staff has been here nor that i expected a top 3 class. It was a compliment to the confidence I have in our coaches ability to teach them more than running in circles. So get off your high horse for a moment.

I must say that Chris Low looks so much better now in that still shot. He's probably added several years to his life just by dropping all those pounds he was carrying around.

See the explanation to the next guy. Perhaps you should use better examples, or use more clear language. Because what else can you mean? You mean he's going to be a middle of the road recruiter and a good coach? Because you can't judge his recruiting by today, and really, this whole class. So what else can you mean that I don't understand? Because that's they type coach Rick Barnes (whom I've been happy with since day 1) is.

edit. And I have no high horse, but your post was not complimenting Pruitt. And my point was that none of us can judge how he's going to recruit for us by today.

Guys, just meet up at the waffle house parking lot, settle this once and for all. Then go in and order the allstar, hash browns instead of grits, covered, chunked, waffle, sausage, eggs scrambled with cheese. All will be ok. Who's hungry now?
